Ola Electric's Gen 3 S1 Scooters

Ola Electric, India’s top pure-play EV manufacturer, revealed its Gen 3 range to evolve its S1 portfolio to the next stage. The latest model range includes eight new scooters for both mass and premium segments to transform performance standards alongside efficiency and safety measures in the two-wheeler electric vehicle sector.

The new Gen 3 platform features flagship models including the S1 Pro+ (5.3kWh) that uses the 4680 Bharat Cell for an IDC range of 320 km and reaches top speeds of 141 km/h. The Gen 3 scooter range begins at ₹79,999 for the basic S1 X (2kWh) model and reaches ₹1,69,999 for the high-end S1 Pro+ (5.3kWh) version.

A Leap in Performance and Efficiency

The Gen 3 lineup achieves an 11% lower price point alongside a 20% increase in peak power output and range expansion by 20% compared to earlier versions. An advanced mid-drive motor coupled with a chain drive system now powers the scooters to deliver enhanced performance and reliability. The new lineup features category-first dual ABS together with Ola’s patented brake-by-wire technology which enhances safety through dynamic modulation of both regenerative and mechanical braking.
