ZEV (Zero Emission Vehicle)

A ZEV (Zero Emission Vehicle) is a vehicle that emits no greenhouse gasses or pollutants during its operation. BEVs and FCEVs are the main types of ZEVs, as they rely on electric motors powered either by batteries or hydrogen fuel cells. Many governments worldwide are enacting policies to promote the adoption of ZEVs, including tax incentives, rebates, and stricter emissions regulations for internal combustion engine vehicles. The goal is to transition to a cleaner transportation system that reduces the environmental impact of personal and commercial vehicles.
