Supercharger

A Supercharger is a proprietary DC fast-charging network developed by Tesla to provide rapid charging for its electric vehicles. Tesla Superchargers can deliver up to 250 kW of power, allowing Tesla vehicles to regain significant range—sometimes up to 200 miles—in about 15-30 minutes. The Supercharger network is one of Tesla’s competitive advantages, with thousands of stations worldwide, making long-distance travel convenient for Tesla owners. Tesla drivers can locate Superchargers through their vehicle’s navigation system, which also estimates charging times based on the vehicle’s current state of charge.
