Based on the e-Vitara, the Toyota Urban Cruiser BEV was more aggressive in design. We do not yet know the powertrain, but it’s likely to offer a mileage of more than 500 km like its Maruti counterpart. It might have been smart of Toyota to rebrand the e-Vitara, but the Urban Cruiser BEV is somewhat different in terms of design. Is it for gamers who are after a bit of competitiveness in an electric avatar?

Taking the cake came from Tata Motors in the form of the production-ready Harrier EV. The double electric motor all-wheel-drive promises 500 Nm of torque and unrivalled power.
