India’s mobility sector has advanced greatly and so did the recently concluded Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 which took place in January based on the record turn out along with showcases of modern technologies.

This year’s expo was held across three venues, Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Yashobhoomi in Dwarka and the India Expo Centre and school mart in greater Noida. The participation of the expo venue got to a staggering 9,83,522 which translates to an approximate increase of 555 percent from the previous figure of 1,50,000 in the first edition last year. This growth shows how India as a country is adopting new and innovative strategies for mobility. India’s transportation sector will experience a massive transformation without any doubt.

The expo showcased futuristic drone and eVTOL demonstrations in exclusive areas which generated significant excitement. The halls resembled advanced testing grounds for future transportation technologies.

Visitors to the Auto Expo Show were captivated by the dazzling electric vehicles on display while the hydrogen-operated civil work equipment at the Bharat Construction Equipment Expo gave a sneak peek of the future of civil engineering, development, urban planning, and infrastructure in India and elsewhere.

Prime Minister’s Vision and Support

A key highlight of the expo was its grand opening, led by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, on 17th January 2025. He delivered a speech emphasizing the country’s goals for ecosystems, technology, and economic growth while appreciating the collaboration between the private sector, government, and citizens.

He inaugurated the event once again, this being the second year in a row.
