New Delhi is the cradle of the electric revolution as new electric cars were star-studded at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 held in New Delhi. From January 17-22, 2025, the event is showcasing innovations that are the first of their kind in India’s electric vehicle (EV) sector.

A Historic Moment for Electric Mobility

Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 united the leading industry players, technology innovators and enthusiasts in one space. Big Automakers introduced their newest generation of electric vehicles which sets the new standard in terms of efficiency, sustainability and technology. It was not a show; the expo was a declaration about the mobility of the future in India.

Hyundai Creta EV – Affordable Innovation

Hyundai Motor India announced the much-awaited Hyundai Creta EV which retails for 17.99 lakh 23.50 lakh. It’s an electric SUV with a range of 473 km on a single charge. Equipped with options such as a digital key, a foldable tray, and driver’s seat memory, the Creta EV promises a range of innovations for a competitive price that makes it a serious contender in the new electric vehicle space.

Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara – Revolutionary New Directions

Maruti Suzuki had an outlandish entry in the electric car arena with its e-Vitara which has a range of 500 km and above. With its Level 2 ADAS, feature-rich infotainment system and reasonable price tag, it is an appealing car in India’s line-up of new electric cars. This launch is a sign of Maruti’s dedication to completely revolutionize Indian EV market.

Tata Harrier EV – The Stealth Revolution

The Harrier EV, part of the Stealth Edition range, from Tata Motors took centre stage. Based on the powertrain-independent ATLAS architecture, Harrier EV includes Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree cameras, and a modern infotainment interface. Tata also showed off the nearly-production Sierra EV, fuelling speculation among EV fans and consolidating its market dominance for new electric vehicles.

BMW X1 EV – Style Gets Electric

BMW India made headlines with the local-built BMW X1 EV. Costing 49 lakh, it comes with the eDrive20L motor that is capable of 204 hp and 531 km range. Created for upscale buyers, the BMW X1 EV has opulence and sustainability in spades – the new EV market is truly multi-dimensional.

Porsche EV – Performance Redefined

Porsche India introduced two amazing EVs, the Macan EV and the newly refreshed Taycan sports saloon. The Macan EV, available at 1.21 crore, delivers exciting performance with 3 high-powered versions. Meanwhile, the Taycan is still pushing electric limits. These vehicles confirm Porsche’s role as one of the most advanced companies combining luxury and electrification in new electric vehicles.

Innovation and Sustainability Come Front and Center

But Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 was more than just a car show – it was a demonstration of how the EV sector is truly sustainable. What was presented were products focused on lowering carbon emissions, improving battery life, and implementing cutting-edge driver-assist technologies.
